Prayers and readings for Sunday 23 June  2024, Pentecost 5, and the following week: 

We pray for Anna, our bishop, and Allen, our rector. In our parish cycle of prayer, we pray for the Building Working Group.

In our diocesan cycle of prayer this week, we pray for First Nations Ministries within the diocese.

In our provincial cycle of prayer, we pray for the people and clergy of the Diocese of Yukon and Bishop Lesley Wheeler-Dame.

This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays for The Rt. Rev. David Parsons, Bishop; The Rt. Rev. Joey Royal, The Rt. Rev. Annie Ittoshat, The Rt. Rev. Lucy Netser, Suffragan Bishops, and the clergy and people of the Diocese of the Arctic.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for The Church of England.

Collect:  Saving God, enter the flood and storm of chaos and confusion and speak peace to our fearful hearts, so that we might find our faith in him whose word brings rest to all creation; through Jesus Christ, Lord of wind and wave. Amen.  (Prayers for an Inclusive Church (2009) alt.)
