Prayers and readings for Sunday 16 March and the following week: 

We pray for Anna, our bishop; Allen, our rector; and Rebecca, our deacon. In our parish cycle of prayer, we pray for the members of our eight o'clock congregation.

This week our diocese prays for the parish of St Andrew, Sidney, and their incumbent, Kelly Duncan.

In the ecclesiastical provincial cycle of prayer, we pray for the Diocese of Kootenay and Bishop Lynne McNaughton.

This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays for The Rt. Rev. Bruce Myers, Bishop, and the people and clergy of the Diocese of Quebec.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for The Diocese of Cork, Cloyne and Ross – The Church of Ireland.

Collect: Brooding Spirit, beneath your wings there is creation and life: accompany us on the difficult path with the disappeared, the broken and the fearful, so that we find the way to the city of our peace where we are all accepted as your beloved; through the cross of Jesus Christ, our only Lord.  Amen.
