This week our ecclesiastical province prays for thepeople and clergy of the Diocese of Kootenay and Bishop Lynne McNaughton.
The Anglican Church of Canada prays for The Rt. Rev. Clara Plamondon, Bishop, and the clergy, and people of The Territory of the People.
Every child matters! Remember the Indigenous children who did not return home from residential school; for survivors and their families; for truth, healing, and reconciliation.
In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for The Church of Bangladesh.
Collect: Creator God,
from you every family in heaven and on earth takes its name.
You have rooted and grounded us in your covenant love,
and empowered us by your Spirit
to speak the truth in love,
and to walk in your way towards justice and wholeness.
Mercifully grant that your people,
journeying together in partnership,
may be strengthened and guided
to help one another
to grow into the full stature of Christ,
who is our light and our life.
Amen.
