This week in prayer

Prayers and readings for Sunday 7 June 2026 and the following week: 

We pray for Anna, our bishop, and Allen, our rector. In our parish cycle of prayer, we pray for the chalice bearers.

This week our diocese prays for the parish of St Margaret of Scotland, Galiano Island

In our ecclesiastical province's cycle of prayer, we pray for the Diocese of Caledonia and Bishop David Lehmann.

We continue to hold the community of Tumbler Ridge in our prayers.  

This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays for the theological colleges and training programs within the Ecclesiastical Province of Ontario: Canterbury College, Huron University College, Renison College, the Anglican Studies Program at Saint Paul University, Thorneloe University, Trinity College, Wycliffe College.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for The Scottish Episcopal Church 

Collect: God of mercy, Jesus broke bread with Matthew and called him to the way of discipleship. May we follow in that same spirit of obedience; through the One in whom we are called.  Amen. (Propers Working Group (2016).)
