This week in prayer

Prayers and readings for Sunday 15 March 2026 and the following week: 

We pray for Anna, our bishop, and Allen, our rector. In our parish cycle of prayer, we pray for the lesson readers.

This week our diocese prays for the parish of  St Mary of the Incarnation, Metchosin and their incumbent, Lynn Mills.

In our ecclesiastical province's cycle of prayer, we pray for the Diocese of Yukon as they prepare for an episcopal election on the 21st.

We continue to hold the community of Tumbler Ridge in our prayers.  We pray for all the people of the town and in particular the families of all those who have died. We pray for all affected for by the devastating news: parents, family members, fellow students, teachers, first responders, medical teams, neighbours, those with links to the town and the province as a whole. We pray that they will know of God’s love and peace in this time. That they will know that they do not walk alone in the dark valley. That they will know the love of neighbour supporting in any way possible. That all of us deeply touched by this tragedy may know God’s hope.  

This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays for The Rt. Rev. Bruce Myers, Bishop, and the people and clergy of the Diocese of Quebec.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for The Anglican Church of Kenya.

Collect: Holy God, in Jesus Christ, you reveal yourself to the world, even when we are blind to your grace. Open our eyes to see your transforming love in our midst, so that we may see your world anew; through Jesus Christ, the saviour who shows compassion. Amen. (Propers Working Group 2016)
