This week in prayer

Prayers and readings for Sunday 5 January and the following week: 

We pray for Anna, our bishop, and Allen, our rector. In our parish cycle of prayer, we pray for the team of ushers and greeters.

This week our diocese prays for the parish of Christ Church, Alert Bay, and their incumbent, Sheila Cook.

In the ecclesiastical provincial cycle of prayer, we pray for the Diocese of Kootenay and Bishop Lynne McNaughton.

This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays for Sheilagh McGlynn, Youth Ministries Animator; the Rev. Canon Dr. Scott Sharman, Animator for Ecumenical and Interfaith Relations.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for The Church in Wales.
