Prayers and readings for Sunday 13 October and the following week: 

We pray for Anna, our bishop, and Allen, our rector. In our parish cycle of prayer, we pray for the members and work of the Parish Council.

In our diocesan cycle of prayer this week, we pray for the parish of St Peter, Quamichan, and their incumbent, Jim Holland.

This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays for the The Most Rev. Lynne McNaughton, Archbishop, and the clergy and people of the Diocese of Kootenay.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for The Episcopal Church in the Philippines.

Collect:  Creator of the fruitful earth, you made us stewards of all things.
Give us grateful hearts for all your goodness,
and steadfast wills to use your bounty well,
that the whole human family, today and in generations to come,
may with us give thanks for the riches of your creation.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ the Lord.
