This week in prayer

Prayers and readings for Sunday 6 October and the following week: 

We pray for Anna, our bishop, and Allen, our rector. In our parish cycle of prayer, we pray for the music teams who lead the music during Sunday worship.

In our diocesan cycle of prayer this week, we pray for the parish of St Peter, Comox, and their incumbent Sulin Milne.

In our provincial cycle of prayer, we pray for the people and clergy of the Diocese of Yukon and Bishop Lesley Wheeler-Dame.

This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays for the dean, council, and congregations of the North Region of the British Columbia  Synod.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for The Anglican Church of Papua New Guinea.

Collect:  Creating God, your name is written on every leaf, every bird, every river, every stone, every living being. We praise and worship you for the magnificence of your creation. Make us attentive to the wounds of the earth and willing to work for the healing of the whole creation, through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen
