Prayers and readings for Sunday 29 September 2024, Pentecost 19, and the following week: 

We pray for Anna, our bishop, and Allen, our rector. In our parish cycle of prayer, we pray for 'Muffins & Munblings', the Men's Group.

In our diocesan cycle of prayer this week, we pray for the parish of St Peter, Campbell River, and their incumbent, Stephanie Wood.

In our provincial cycle of prayer, we pray for the people and clergy of the Diocese of New Westminster and Bishop John Stephens.

This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays forThe Rt. Rev. Anna Greenwood-Lee, Bishop, and clergy and people of the Diocese of British Columbia. We remember missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and 2SLGBTQQIA people and their families, and pray for an end to gender-based violence.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for The Church of Pakistan (United).

Collect:  Creating God, your name is written on every leaf, every bird, every river, every stone, every living being. We praise and worship you for the magnificence of your creation. Make us attentive to the wounds of the earth and willing to work for the healing of the whole creation, through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen
