Prayers and readings for Sunday 7 July 2024, Pentecost 7, and the following week: 

We pray for Anna, our bishop, and Allen, our rector. In our parish cycle of prayer, we pray for our Children's Minister, Shannon Carmichael.

In our diocesan cycle of prayer this week, we pray for the parish of St Margaret of Scotland, Galiano Island, and their lay leaders and visiting clergy.

In our provincial cycle of prayer, we pray for the people and clergy of the Diocese of Caledonia and Bishop David Lehmann.

This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays for clergy and people of the Diocese of Brandon and Bishop Rachael Parker.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for The Church of the Province of the Indian Ocean.

Collect:  O God of unearthly wisdom, we take offense at your humanity, we lose our faith that you can change us. Come to us who are your own, convert our inward looking eyes, and take us on the road where all is lost and all is gained, through Jesus Christ, the prophet. Amen.
