Readings and prayers for Sunday 17 March 2024 and the following week:
We pray for Anna, our bishop, and Allen, our rector. In our diocesan cycle of prayer this week, we pray for the people of the Parish of St Andrew, Sidney, and their clergy, Kelly Duncan and Juli Mallett. In our provincial cycle of prayer, we pray for the people and clergy of the Territory of the People and Bishop Clara Plamondon.
This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays for The Rt. Rev. Mary Irwin-Gibson, Bishop, and the people and clergy of the Diocese of Montreal. Together with our full communion partners in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada, we pray for the elimination of racial discrimination.
In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for The Church in Wales.
Collect: God of glory, your revelation through Jesus Christ calls into your covenant of love. Enable us now to reflect your love, so that barriers erected by sin may be broken down, and all people may be drawn to you; through him who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, now and for ever. Amen.
