Lenten Quiet Day with Sister Doreen

 Sr. Doreen from The Sisterhood of St. John the Divine is offering two opportunities for a Zoom Lent retreat day “Be Pray - Be Gift - Be Whole”  on February 25th or March 4th  from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.  Sr. Doreen will offer three reflections with opportunity for meditation between each one.  There is no fee.  Please contact the parish office for further information and to register.  Registration closes February 18th. 

Lent Quiet Day 2023
 
Joan Chittister in her book The Monastic Heart writes:

“In every beating human heart is a silent undercurrent that calls each of us to the more of ourselves.  Like a magnet it draws a person to a place unknown, to the vision of a wiser life, to the desire to become what I feel I must be – but cannot name.”

On our Lenten Journey this year, 
my deepest desire is to listen to that call to be more of myself: 
To be prayer
To be gift
To be whole
