The 9.30 Eucharist service on Sunday 18 August will be held at, and on, Willows Beach. We will meet on the beach by the Kiwanis Tearoom as shown in the photos - handy for the parking lot and washrooms. Music and speaking will be acoustic only, no amplification is permitted.
Come for the bread, stay for the fish? As we finish, Kiwanis and community volunteers will be setting up by the Tearoom for the annual salmon BBQ fundraiser, which starts at 11 - plates $25.00.
There will be a service of Holy Communion in church at 8am as usual.
Directions: Willows Park is on Beach Drive at Dalhousie (postal code V8R 2W1). The eastern end of Dalhousie (off Beach, at the beach!) is the free parking lot. The Kiwanis Tearoom is right by the parking lot. Washrooms are also on the Esplanade, at the NE corner of the park. Designated disabled parking spots are near the Tearoom building at the beach end of the parking lot. It's not a huge parking lot, and Willows Beach is a very popular place, so you may want to park on a nearby street and/or come a little early.
