Prayers and readings for Sunday 8 September 2024, Pentecost 16, and the following week: 

We pray for Anna, our bishop, and Allen, our rector. In our parish cycle of prayer, we pray for the Liturgy & Worship working group.

In our diocesan cycle of prayer this week, we pray for the parish of St Michael & All Angels, Royal Oak, and their incumbent, John Perris.

In our provincial cycle of prayer, we pray for the people and clergy of the Territory of the People and Bishop Clara Plamondon.

This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays for the The Most Rev. Lynne McNaughton, Metropolitan, and the clergy and people of the Ecclesiastical Province of British Columbia and Yukon.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for The Church of the Province of Myanmar (Burma) .

Collect:  Creating God, your name is written on every leaf, every bird, every river, every stone, every living being. We praise and worship you for the magnificence of your creation. Make us attentive to the wounds of the earth and willing to work for the healing of the whole creation, through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen
