Prayers and readings for Sunday 1 December and the following week: 

We pray for Anna, our bishop, and Allen, our rector. In our parish cycle of prayer, we pray for the teachers, children and families of Gonzales Preschool.

This week our diocese prays for the parish of Trinity Anglican & Lutheran, Port Alberni, interim pastor Susan Hermanson, and lay leaders.

In the ecclesiastical provincial cycle of prayer, we pray for the Diocese of Kootenay and Archbishop Lynne McNaughton.

This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays for the people of the Anglican Church of Canada.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for the Province of the Episcopal Church of South Sudan.

Collect:  Urgent God, breaking through the static to speak to our hearts: disarm our love of control and shake the silent heavens to reveal your dawning glory, judging all in the light of love; through Jesus Christ, the one who is to come.
