Prayers and readings for Sunday 27 October and the following week: 

We pray for Anna, our bishop, and Allen, our rector. In our parish cycle of prayer, we pray for our synod delegates and alternates as they prepare for diocesan Synod.

In our diocesan cycle of prayer this week, we pray for the parish of St Philip, Lantzville.

This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays for The Rt. Rev. Leslie Wheeler-Dame, Bishop, and the clergy and people of the Diocese of Yukon.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for The Scottish Episcopal Church.

Collect:  O Jesus Christ, teacher and healer, you heard the cry of the blind beggar when others would have silenced him. Teach us to be attentive to the voices others ignore, and, by the power of the Spirit, respond in your name to heal the afflicted and welcome the abandoned; for your sake and the sake of the gospel.
