This week in prayer

Prayers and readings for Sunday 20 October and the following week: 

We pray for Anna, our bishop, and Allen, our rector. In our parish cycle of prayer, we pray for our parish administrator.

In our diocesan cycle of prayer this week, we pray for the parish of St Philip by the Sea, Cedar, and their incumbent, Leslie Flynn.

This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays for The Rt. Rev. John Stephens, Bishop, and the clergy and people of the Diocese of New Westminster.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for L'Eglise Anglicane du Rwanda.

Collect:  Almighty and everliving God, increase in us your gift of faith, that forsaking what lies behind and reaching out to what is before, we may run the way of your commandments and win the crown of everlasting joy; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
