Prayers and readings for Sunday 15 September 2024, Pentecost 17, the Feast of Creation, and the following week: 

We pray for Anna, our bishop, and Allen, our rector. In our parish cycle of prayer, we pray for the maintenance team and project volunteers.

In our diocesan cycle of prayer this week, we pray for the parish of St Paul, Nanaimo, and their incumbent, Vernon Foster.

In our provincial cycle of prayer, we pray for the people and clergy of the Diocese of Caledonia and Bishop David Lehmann.

This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays for the Provincial Synod of the Ecclesiastical Province of British Columbia and Yukon.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for The Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) .

Collect:  Creating God, your name is written on every leaf, every bird, every river, every stone, every living being. We praise and worship you for the magnificence of your creation. Make us attentive to the wounds of the earth and willing to work for the healing of the whole creation, through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen
