Prayers and readings for Sunday 4 August 2024, Pentecost 11, and the following week: 

We pray for Anna, our bishop, and Allen, our rector. In our parish cycle of prayer, we pray for our gardens & grounds team.

In our diocesan cycle of prayer this week, we pray for postulants of the diocese. Rebecca Yeo and Mona Smart will be ordained Deaons in September.

In our provincial cycle of prayer, we pray for the people and clergy of the Territory of the People and Bishop Clara Plamondon.

This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays for The Rt. Rev. Helen Kennedy, Bishop, and the clergy and people of the Diocese of Qu’Appelle.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for The Anglican Church of Kenya.

Collect:  God of the lowly and the mighty, even when we harm and destroy one another, you offer us forgiveness of our sins if we but open our hearts to your grace and mercy, so that we may build up one another in love.  Amen. Revised Common Lectionary Prayers (2002) alt.
