Prayers and readings for Sunday 21 July 2024, Pentecost 9, and the following week: 

We pray for Anna, our bishop, and Allen, our rector. In our parish cycle of prayer, we pray for our Envelope secretary & offerings counters.

In our diocesan cycle of prayer this week, we pray for the parish of St Mary Magdalene, Mayne Island, for the   Reverend Canon Dr. Blair Haggart, lay leaders, and visiting clergy.

In our provincial cycle of prayer, we pray for the people and clergy of the Diocese of New Westminster and Bishop John Stephens.

This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays for The Rt. Rev. Stephen London, Bishop, and the clergy and people of the Diocese of  Edmonton.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for The Nippon Sei Ko Kai (Anglican Church in Japan).

Collect:  Holy God of Israel, draw us near to you, so that, in place of hostility, there may be peace; in place of loneliness, compassion; in place of aimlessness, direction; and in place of sickness, healing; through Christ Jesus, in whom you draw near to us.  Amen.
