Readings and prayers for Sunday 24 March 2024 and the following week: 

We pray for Anna, our bishop, and Allen, our rector. In our diocesan cycle of prayer this week, we pray for the people of the Parish of St Anne & St Edmund, Parksville. In our provincial cycle of prayer, we pray for the people and clergy of the Diocese of Caledonia and Bishop David Lehmann.

This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays for the theological colleges and training programs within the Ecclesiastical Province of Canada: The Atlantic School of Theology, Montreal Diocesan Theological College, and Queen’s College.

In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for The Church of the Province of West Africa.

Collect: Almighty and everliving God,
in tender love for all our human race
you sent your Son our Saviour Jesus Christ
to take our flesh
and suffer death upon a cruel cross.
May we follow the example of his great humility,
and share in the glory of his resurrection;
through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever. (BAS 299, Palm Sunday)
