We are writing to express our deepest gratitude for your thoughtful and impactful donation to The Mustard Seed in 2023. Your commitment to food security has not only made a significant difference to thousands of individuals and families, but has also sown seeds of hope in the lives of those we serve.

How your donation helped:
•    Our Food Security Distribution Centre collected and distributed close to 2 million lbs of food, beverages and hygiene products via our Food Bank and 70+ service agencies.
•    Our Food Bank alone distributed 600,000 lbs of products - the equivalent of 480,000 meals or approximately 1,300 meals per day.
•    Our Hospitality Centre shared the equivalent of 50,000 meals, as well as clothing, haircuts, foot care and case management support. 
•    Our Fair Start for Kids program distributed 600 back-to-school kits to children and youth.
•    Our Hope Farm Healing Centre offered farm skills training for 12 multi-barrier participants and provided post-90-day addiction recovery.
•    The Seed delivered 1,200 Christmas hampers filled with food, toys and other essentials.
•    And hosted a Christmas Celebration for 400+ community members.

None of this is possible without your support, so thank you for being an important part of The Mustard Seed family.  As we move forward into a new year, we are incredibly grateful for donors like you who stand with us in our commitment to fight hunger. Together, we are making a real and lasting difference.

Thank you very much to the 140+ regular volunteers who are critical to The Seed throughout the year, and the 300+ additional volunteers who supported our Holiday Season programs.
