We pray for Anna, our bishop, and Allen, our rector. In our parish cycle of prayer, the 8am and 9.30 congregations pray for each other.
This week our diocese prays for the UVic Multifaith Centre and Shawnigan Lake School, and for their Anglican chaplains, Rebecca Yeo and Ruth Dantzer.
In our ecclesiastical province's cycle of prayer, we pray for the Diocese of Kootenay and Bishop Lynne McNaughton.
This week the Anglican Church of Canada prays for the members of the Council of General Synod .
In the Anglican Communion cycle of prayer, we pray for The Episcopal / Anglican Province of
Alexandria.
Collect: Christ in all our journeys, you have set your face towards enacting God’s will. You invite us to journey with you, to come to your perspective through the gift of a renewed heart and vision. Help us to weep for our complicity in evil even as we rejoice in your determination to save, for you lead us lightly, through the weakness of prayer and the love of our fellows, for you reign with The One who sent you and the Holy Spirit, One God, now and for ever. Amen. (AD)
