Here’s what happens most Sundays at St. Philip:
- 8am – Holy Communion. A short, sweet, smaller traditional worship service with no music and a shorter reflection.
- 9am – Family-friendly Eucharist. ‘Eucharist’ literally means ‘thanksgiving’ – and is the celebration of Communion, also known as the Lord’s Supper. At our 9am worship we usually have a mix of eclectic music ranging from bluegrass to praise to traditional hymns – with nursery, Sunday School & youth ministry...
- 11:15am – Traditional Worship. Morning Prayer on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month and Choral Eucharist on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays.
Very occasionally we combine all three services (this usually happens the Sunday after Christmas, our Church Picnic in June and on other special occasions). Please keep an eye on the “Special Events and Series” section on the front page of this website in case there is a change.
